Why I built this
I kept watching the same thing happen. People I knew personally, sharp, creative, deeply capable people, couldn't get past the first filter. Not because they lacked ability, but because their resume didn't have the right school name or the right company logo on it.
The hiring world puts enormous weight on pedigree. Where you went to school. Whether you worked at a FAANG company. How many years you spent at a name everyone recognizes. And if your path didn't follow that script, you were often invisible regardless of how good you actually were.
I knew too many rockstars stuck on the outside of a system that wasn't built to find them. And I got tired of just talking about it.
So I built OutlierOS. A way to surface how someone actually thinks, not where they've been. Eight AI-generated thought experiments, a cognitive profile, and a score that means something. No pedigree required.
